Catching the Moon

Practice the catch of the moon
Held in the night dawn
It shows you the Way and helps
you be in the place of goodness

The practice is without making it about you
and is satisfied with what arises
it never deceives you
or brings ill-will
it cheers for everyone
is glad and easy
Radiant posing just right
it is tireless and remembers to see
the sublime home of loving in kindness
and kindness in love.
It holds nothing so tight as to blur the Way
it knows to leave and come
Practice holding the moon is free
everywhere
the moon reflects in the day and night
cherishing the moondrops
falling from our hearts
peace be with us
be of good cheer

How to Work with Your Thoughts

Our thoughts can become hard, fixed and seem very real...even thoughts about dharma, bodhi mind, the Way...this drawing helps to remind us to pull the rug out...sometimes the very rug we stand on.

The Middle Way

The Middle Way is freedom from conceptual thought...take a look at what you are thinking and you'll see where you are pushing or shoving grasping or clinging...and then...

cease all involvement with conceptual thoughts
